For several months I have been using Radio Shack's "all-band" scanner
antenna on my car. I was surprised at how well it worked in the 30-50 Mhz
range. It's not perfect, but it's better than anything I've used before.

In the 2002 catalog the item number is 20-032 and the price is $30. It's on
page 104.
