[ScanIndiana] Reminder/Notice: Tornado Drills For March 6, 2002

Just as a reminder for fellow EMA members and the scanning population
tomorrow is Statewide Tornado Drill time for Indiana. This is a good time to
prepare, including making sure your county's EMA frequencies/talkgroups and
amateur repeaters are programmed in the old scanner.

Springtime in Indiana means the possibility of severe weather. Governor
Frank O'Bannon has proclaimed the week of March 3 - 9 as "Severe Weather
Awareness Week".

On Wednesday, March 6, 2002 two tornado drills will be conducted.  One will
be between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., the other between 7:00 p.m. 7:30 p.m..
This will be the 24th annual exercise to test warning and communications
systems.
