[ScanIndiana] more newbie questions

I haven't gotten a "Police Call" book from Radio Shack lately, but the
first few pages used to contain a really nice generalintroduction to scanning and scanners.  I am sure that there are several
people who might have additional sources for you.  Iam recovering in the hospital from 2 surgeries right now, but I am due to
go home next week.  If you would like to send me youraddress in a private email, I can tear out the front pages of one of my
old "Police Call" books and send them to you.
