That's often an interesting frequency to listen to around the Indy metro
area...when they're not encrypted.  Fortunately, unlike FBI, they only
use encryption when they're talking about operation details; you'll
often hear a station encrypted sporadically (to mention a person's name
or something) in a given conversation.  They run simplex very frequently
but also have a repeater output on that freq.  I've even heard one
fellow talking through the repeater to another on simplex on the output
freq.
