SHIPS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS:
Ships will be available on the following frquencies using their original
shipboard equipment in the AM mode. This special operation will be in
addition
to the normal SSB & CW operations. These frequencies will also be in use at
other times at the discretion of each ship.
Saturday July 20th 7290 Khz 1400Z - 1530Z
Saturday July 20th 21425 Khz 1700Z - 1900Z
Sunday July 21st 3885 Khz 0000Z - 0330Z
Sunday July 21st 7290 Khz 1400Z - 1430Z
Sunday July 21st 21425 Khz 1600Z - 1900Z
14286 Kcs AM will also be attempted.
Ships will be available from time to time using their original equipment
on CW on the following frequencies:
Saturday July 20th 14052 Kcs 1600Z - 1700Z
Saturday July 20th 14052 Kcs 1900Z - 2200Z
Saturday July 20th 7052 Kcs 2200Z - 2400Z
Sunday July 21st 7052 Kcs 1100Z - 1400Z
As with AM, at the discretion of the ships, these CW frequencies will be in
use by the ships using original equipment at other times. Imagine getting a
QSL
card that says, "Receiver RBB Transmitter: TCK11 Antenna: Shipboard
vertical."
These ships will be on AM or CW and will also be on the normal SSB mode.
This
year because of the large number of participating ships, a
certificate will be issued to anyone who contacts at least ten of the
participating ships. You must supply the names of the ships, band you
worked
them on, Time and date. Also a SASE must be supplied. Send this to KC1XI
who is the certificate QSL manager.
