No assumptions were made Gary.  I was stating the facts about the MURS
frequencies you mentioned.  You made a general statement saying they were
legal there.  I was making it clear that IF they are using the radios I have
seen them use, they are not legal.

The TAC radios that I HAVE PERSONALLY SEEN were HAM radios & they are NOT
TYPE ACCEPTED for MURS or Business bands (where they ARE being used).

I'm speaking from experience my friend.  Sorry if you assumed I was
assuming... :)  I'm glad to know that you're using Type Accepted equipment
for MURS.  I only wish a lot more people would do it too.

By the way Tom/David...  You guys have been busy!  Nice work.

Yes I am legal there. And I didnt assume that IPD is
using illegally converted radios. Infact, I didnt
assume anything. All I said was that if they are
there, they are legal. (if usuing legal radios) Not
out of band, illegal frequencies. MURS is fine for car
to car communications for IPD and anyone else that
wants to use it. You know the old saying about
assuming.
