[ScanIndiana] Johnson county system?

Terry, not a stupid question at all. What I was referring to was a PC that
I run the freeware program "trunker" on. If you are not familiar with this
program, it is quite useful for monitoring and analyzing Motorola trunked
radio systems. There is also a version that handles EDACS systems. If you
are interested in looking at either of these programs they can be found at
"http://www.trunkedradio.net/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=1".
There are specific equipment requirements to make these programs work to
their fullest, they are covered on this web site. These are both DOS based
programs, and run best in "pure" DOS. There are windows versions of these
programs in the works.

Thanks Tim, for the detailed explanation of "Trunk Tracker" scanners. If
you haven't checked out the program "trunker", you might want to. It is a
lot more versatile than just a scanner. Of course, it requires two
scanners, one that is slightly modified, an interface, and a computer to run
it. I would think for a news room application, it might be very useful,
though.
