[ScanIndiana] Digital sanning in the future

Yes they are better at somethings......    But as the one guy said you have
trade off... Where with an analog CellPhone you had static but could still
make out enough of the conversation to get the message thru... You will not
with Digital...As it is either there whole or gone completely... Ever lose a
cellphone call with a digital phone... You have no early warning that you
will lose signal like u do with analog.. It will just drop out completly..
All of a sudden... Yes it does a good job most of the time.. But I really
like my digital/analog cellphone.. Because it switches to analog (Prior to
dialling) if I am in a poor digital signal area.. And that way I can still
get my call thru... A bit noisy but enough to get my message thru...

Example: This evening at 7:53 PM I was in our Stone Quarry, a whole in the
ground if you will.. A digital signal, was impossible to get a connection
with... The phone switched to analog... I was able to call home and tell the
kids to record StarTrek Enterprise.. Just in time for the start, since I was
working over... If it wern't for the analog portion.. I would be sitting
here not watching it right now...
