Rob,

I lived in Newburgh IN. once and at the fire dept. there our base radio a 16
channel scanning Regency or Wilson and we had a 185' tower that was holding
our antenna's and on most days we could monitor Avon Fire dispatch with no
trouble and I had no clue where Avon was and most of the time didn't care
less, unless they had a really good worker.

and when something sounds interesting that when my interests peak.

Just my $00.05 worth

I don't care where it's at If I can hear it and it's a worker I'm listening
to it.

*******************
I too am a scanner hobbyists AND LOVE hearing about other parts of the
state. I own 5+ scanners, I keep 1 in the bedroom, 1 in my vehicle and have
a Radio Shack pro-2035 in the den with an outdoor antenna on a 30ft mast and
a few others just laying around. I can listen, literally, to the 2/3 of the
state and the northern part of Kentucky. I am constantly adding new
frequencies to the scanner have gotten the majority of those freqs from
ScanIndiana.

Not everyone on this list lives in Lawrence County. Believe it or not life
does exists outside.

Ken
