[Scan-DC] Cheapest handheld for Blue Angels?

Thanks Ed. Odd choice of frequency coverage, leaving off the top 50 MHz of the milair band. The BC125AT leaves off the top 20 MHz. Both radios miss a few of the reported Blue Angels frequencies because of that. Radio manufacturers must have something against that part of the radio spectrum 😃

The specs say it will also receive 174-350 mHz, but I've never tried to use it in that range. I've found it's easier to program with the CHIRP software than by hand. You can pick one up on Amazon for about 30 bucks.

Any other thoughts on a quickly-available and economical scanner to monitor the Blue Angels at an airshow next weekend?
