Montgomery County Police invites community members to attend either the
English or Spanish presentation, to learn how MCPD hopes to use drones to
enhance public safety.

The Drone as First Responder (DFR) program utilizes an unmanned aircraft
system to fly to a call for service and arrive prior to, or in conjunction
with, first responders on the ground. DFR assists in helping evaluate the
scene and circumstances before officers arrive and while an event is
ongoing.
