[Scan-DC] "Is there anybody trapped?"

I've just heard a transmission unlike any I've heard in over 60 years of
listening to public safety radio.

 

It was from a unit operating at a pedestrian struck by train call in
Gaithersburg a few minutes ago.

 

BTLN. CHIEF: "I copy it's a Priority 4. Is anybody trapped?"

 

UNIT: "No. I have several parts. The upper torso and the head are in the
middle of the tracks. The rest of the body is on the other side. Nobody is
trapped."

 

Wow!
