[Scan-DC] Scanner repair update

I wish to thank those folks who mailed me or dropped off their scanners for
a free estimate and or got repaired in the month of April.

Some radios were beyond fixing, primarily PRO-2004's, old regency and
couple BC300's

I will still give an estimate for those people who have them but likely
they will not stay "working".

If you have circa 1994 or newer radios out of warranty you will not find
anyone other than G&G communications or perhaps Uniden that will take older
Uniden and Radio Shack, and GRE scanners for repair and they charge by the
hour.

I charge 35.00 a day with very likely a one day turn around if I have the
part(s). dropping the radio off here in Leesburg saves you the shipping
costs to and from here as well.

These older radios being sold on Ebay are NOT really "collector" items
except the rare Uniden MR-8100 or similar radios that were never meant for
the consumer market.

If you think you have a radio you might want to work again you can email me
with the problem and photos for a free estimate before sending it or making
your mind up.
