Privacy has been a thing of the past for many years.  What little that was left continues to decline.  The only really way to have privacy in the US is to live entirely off the grid and pretend it’s the mid 1700’s.  Unfortunately, that’s not practical theses days and certainly not desirable for the vast majority of people.  Today, being self sufficient means actually going into a store to shop rather than ordering over the internet.
