[Scan-DC] Monitoring Montgomery County

A few days before Christmas I decided to update the database in my BCD436HP.
I use the free Sentinal software to program the radio so it was a simple
matter of clicking "Update master database" and then uploading it to the
radio. Voila, a large number of new frequencies were added to my Montgo
system and I assumed these were the new P25 additions. I immediately noticed
a significant improvement to the reception here in the Downtown Crown
section of Gaithersburg - far fewer dropouts - and I saw that P25 was
showing as the system-type at the bottom of the radio's display. I wondered
if they'd turned up the new system early. I guess they did, and the
difference is very noticeable here.

My Uniden bcd436hp is still picking up Montgomery County P16.
Ditto for my RadioShack units.
