[Scan-DC] Virginia State Police Migrating to P25 Phase-2

Over the weekend I was informed that the [VHF-Highband] Virginia STARS
Statewide P-25 system will be migrating from P-25 Phase-1 (FMDA) to P-25
Phase-2 (TDMA) at some future day.



·         FCC licenses across the system are currently being modified to
authorize the 2-Slot TDMA Emissions (9K80D7W, 9K80F1D, 9K80F1E).

·         All new user terminal radios that have been purchased in the last
18 months have supported Phase-2.
