I am curious and wonder who can answer this question. I lived for 36 years
in Fairfax county but moved to Loudoun County 3 years ago. FF county has
helios for the PD and medstar I think but here, I have never seen or heard
any traffic from the LCSO using a helo. I have been to the Leesburg airport
and see what I can only describe as personal helicopters or perhaps ones
used for some other reason.

Not sure if Dulles airport police have one that can be called on for say
suspect tracking or SAR. Anyone know if say the sheriffs office need
aviation assets who they would call on to assist?
