MIH = Mobile Integrated Health Unit.
Its an effort to provide extra patient evaluation resource capacity.
Its not directly tied to a BLS transport unit as crews (EMT-P/EMT-B) use a
non-transport capable vehicle and call for a transport unit if needed.
