Probably rather than PAN you heard the term PUI (patient under investigation).

 From the Daily Briefing:
Communications
Hospital notification or consult for "PUI" patients must be made
prior to leaving the incident scene. Use the specific terminology
"PUI" Include the criteria that make the patient a "PUI" Include any
abnormal vital signs including presence of a fever Expect additional
questions as the hospital begins the triage process Consider the
logistics of the patient hand-off
Prior to transport, personnel should switch to a secure channel to
notify the EMS Duty Officer of the treatment and/or transport of a
PUI for COVID-19. 0900-2100 hours: go direct to 74C (INC70 - Secure)
2100-0900 hours: Contact 7B operator to request the secure channel
(usually 7L)
Units that need to remain unavailable after an incident because of
decon/restocking/equipment issues, should 1) remain on the incident,
and 2) advise ECC of the reason you need to remain on the incident.
Please do not request to be placed on a detail. We need to capture
the true cycle time, from dispatch to the time a unit is available
for another call. This does not apply to units that meet the
'Apparatus OOS Criteria.'
ECC Surge Communications:
Effective 0700 hours Monday, April 13, 2020 at ECC: Duty officer PUI
notifications are still required. Units are to go directly to 7Lima
to consult with the EMS Duty Officer. ECC will monitor 7Lima at all hours.
The use of 74Charlie is discontinued. ECC will add a second
operations talkgroup, specifically for EMS. This will be in place
24/7. 7Bravo will handle EFD incidents, PICs, assaults and any
traumatic injury type incident (not falls from the same level).
7Charlie will handle medical centric incidents, including the MIH
cars. In addition to vocalizing the operations talkgroup when
dispatched, for incidents assigned to 7Charlie, ECC will make every
effort to put the '7C' marker in the Radio Channel line of the MDC
Incident Summary screen.
Incidents assigned to 7Bravo will not get the '7B' marker. Incidents
requiring a tactical talkgroup when dispatched, will normally go to
7Golf. If 7Golf is unavailable, the next incident blocks are
71Charlie and 71Golf. Incidents that only require a single tactical
talkgroup may be placed on 7Delta or 7Echo. An EMSDO will be assigned
to ECC from 0900 to 2100 hours, seven days a week. -Page 3 of 10 - MCFR
