When Hutch goes missing after he is ambushed on a mountain road, Starsky must depend on the help of a mentally addled WW II veteran and a young ham radio operator to find him before it's too late.

The young ham radio operator had a Heathkit IM-18 VTVM in his bedroom. I saw some multiband radios in his shack, but I didn't see the entire episode. My TV isn't 4K, so I can't provide more details about his rigs.
