[Scan-DC] Car Fire in the I-395 Tunnel

The District of Columbia (DC) Department of Transportation has reported a car fire in the I-395 tunnel that runs under the Frances Perkins Building (FPB).  The D.C. Fire Department has responded.  Some FPB occupants may smell smoke that has been drawn into the building via the FPB ventilation system, but there is no danger of a fire in the FPB.  FPB’s Office of Worker Safety and Health and building engineers are continuing to assess the situation and will take appropriate precautions as needed.  We will issue an update on the situation once more information is available.
