I believe Spotsylvania did this about 10 years ago during a tropical storm

amatuer radio ops would ride along as the fixer folks stated 3 days before
they could return the tower to full working condition. Does anyone remember
this date and such?

Short story extra effort fixed the downed dispatch issue enough that this
was not needed. I am sure some retired ops know of what I am speaking. And
yes I saw myself riding around in the backseat of a FF crusier with an HT
in my hand. But it would have likely turned Keystone if you think how big
FF county is and the ability to coordinate calls would have been between
the officers and the HAMs in the back seat.

Personally a professional dispatcher sitting next to me using my HT or 25
watt LiPo powered rig with a mag mount on the roof would have been more fun
to "watch" and learn.
