I have 2 5 ft long UHF corner reflectors horizontally stacked. From the west side of Balto county amd pointed towards DC I get 75+ stations without turning them. All Balto and DC  several in NOVA, and PA. Salisbury and Fred if I turn them. Got everything from Solid Signal.

I'm curious what antennas you guys recommend for local TV reception?

The fiberglass, plastic, flat panel, Mohu, et al, seem like poor performers
for me.  I have become a fan of old-fashioned metal antennas.

But I see so many different models these days.

Which is better: The long horizontal models, or the vertical bowties?
Looking at TVfool, I need VHF and UHF.

What do you guys recommend?

Curious to find these interesting listings on eBay.  The sellers have
pretty good feedback for what I consider suspect antennas, especially the
980-mile model.

Has anybody tried the single-piece rotor/antenna combo?  That sounds
interesting.

In this age of technology, I'd think there would be an antenna system that
scans the entire 360 and stores the precise bearing for each channel.
Anything like that out there?
