WE HAVE LOST 8 MATURE TREES IN THE CHEVY CHASE AREA.....THREE TREES DOWN IN TWO SQ. BLOCKS...THAT I WAS ABLE TO VIEW.....THESE ARE THE ONES WE CAN SEE FROM THE STREET........YES..... MY YEARS IN THE USAF AND MY KNOWLEDGE OF WX........WE HAD AT LEAST TWO FUNNELS COMING DOWN IN THE BLOCKS THAT I WAS ABLE TO VIEW........OF COURSE, ALL WX REPORTS COME FROM DCA...AND THAT IN ITSELF......DOES NOT REPRESENT...OUR TOTAL AREA.

......2212 HRS...AND WE JUST HAD MAJOR THUNDER CLAPS FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES...WITH NO VISIBLE LIGHTING...CRAZY TRUMP WX...

BACK IN THE LATE 1950'S...WE SAW WEATHER LIKE THIS IN GREENLAND AND LABRADOR......
