Non-combative(Alzheimers, lost kids, etc,) in LE, yes.  Combative 
situations in LE, no.

The difference being.  The drones used by the military in combative 
situations are much bigger, and usually armed in some way.  Where the 
drones used by LE are not anywhere near as big, nowhere near as fast, 
and are not armed.
