There is also an emergency pumping station just north of Chain Bridge that can has a concrete pad set for portable pumps to the brick structure on Clara Barton Parkway directly below the Georgetown Reservoir. Also there is an intake at that point for emergency water from the C&O Canal. At one point GGW posted a high res map of the entire Washington Aqueduct system but had to take it down shortly after. The Fort Reno reservoir complex is perhaps the most interesting as it includes the microwave tower connecting the White House with doomsday facilities all over Appalachia. No im not kidding about this. Still in operation as a last line communication should everything else go.
