[Scan-DC] Recommend me a scanner please

It will be difficult to monitor both sides of a mil air conversation unless you are less than 20 or 30 miles from the air base. Air to air shouldn’t be a problem as that is line of site to the aircraft, hundreds of miles are possible. You are having problems listening to the tower that has a low power transmitter compared to public service equipment.
