[Scan-DC] CSX signal work in Richmond VA area to affect Amtrak services

I saw this at Trainorders. CSX is cutting in positive train control to its signal system throughout its lines. That is why the existing signal system was inoperative in Cayce, SC, several weeks back, with the resultant wreck.

The post does not come out and say that is the purpose for the signal work, but I'm reading between the lines and guessing that is the purpose of this nearby work. I do not know if you will find any new frequencies in use. I suspect that all you will be able to monitor on the AAR railroad channels is the usual stuff related to train movement. Expect people to be extra careful due to the wreck in Cayce.
