[Scan-DC] L-CAN?

What happened to the NIMS idea of “plain language”. I think it’s OK to use acronyms for teaching and memory tools however, not so much when they are used for communications. Especially when working with organizations which may not be familiar.
I still teach medical, EMS & Emer Mgt classes and use / teach acronyms to help memory but stress NOT to use them when communicating.
