May 26, 2017
(Glen Burnie, MD) – The Maryland State Police will be joined by the Maryland National Guard, Anne Arundel County Police Department, Anne Arundel County Fire Department and other area law enforcement and emergency services agencies in a community event on Sunday, as they work to inform citizens about their public safety roles and enhance relationships with the people they serve.

Bring your family and meet a State Police K-9, check out the Motorcycle Unit and participate in an interactive impaired driving station. There will be a variety of public safety vehicle and information displays. Representatives of the Maryland State Police will include:
Recruiting Unit – We are hiring and recruiters will explain requirements and how to apply.
Aviation Command – Learn what it takes to be a flight paramedic.
Motorcycle Unit – Troopers will conduct a riding demonstration.
S.T.A.T.E. Team – See the armored vehicle and talk with troopers on our SWAT Team.
Patrol Vehicles – See the technology and equipment in patrol cars up close.
The event is free and all are invited to stop by and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about law enforcement and rescue services in Anne Arundel County. The event will take place rain or shine.
