On Friday, October 7, at approximately 11:05 am EST, there will be 4 F-16 aircraft flyovers at Arlington Cemetery for a military burial.
On Friday, October 7, at approximately 12:00 pm EST, there will be a 2016 Potomac Flight WWII aircraft flyover of the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery. (Rain date Sunday, October 9, 12:00 pm EST)
- 20 World War II aircraft, including a B-25 Mitchell bomber and T-6 Texans will depart from Culpeper Regional Airport and fly in formation up the Potomac River. The flight will overfly DCA airport and turn to overfly the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery in honor of Disabled American Veterans. This ceremonial formation flight will be visible from Alexandria, Arlington and Rosslyn, Virginia
On Friday, October 7, at approximately 3:00 pm EST, there will be 2 V-22 Osprey aircraft flyovers at Arlington Cemetery for a military burial.
On Friday, October 7, at approximately 5:00 pm EST, there will be 4 UH-1 helicopter flyovers at Nationals Stadium for a baseball game.
On Saturday, October 8, at approximately 2:51 pm EST, there will be 4 F-18 aircraft flyovers at the U.S. Naval Academy Stadium, Annapolis, MD for a football game.
On Sunday, October 9, at 7:15 am EST, there will be an Army Ten Miler Race - parachute jump and flyover at the Pentagon.
- U.S. Army Golden Knights will conduct a parachute jump at approximately 7:15 am EST at the race start line. Following the jump, there will be a flyover of 4 UH-60 Army helicopters. During the race a U.S. Army helicopter will be operating overhead.
This activity has been coordinated in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Capitol Police, U.S. Park Police, Department of Defense, Pentagon Force Protection Agency, Transportation Security Administration and other NCR area agencies.
