Replacing the County’s Emergency Communications Center, MSPTOC was completed in 2008. Comprising over 146,000 square feet, the facility and operations center is home to four separate agencies: The Department of Public Safety Communications (911 Center), the Office of Emergency Management, the Virginia State Police, and the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Scott Hemlock, AIA, LEED AP, Principal for the HOK-DC’s Justice Group, will lead participants through an overview of the design concept as well as strategies and programming during different phases of the design process.
