Media Availability with USPP Chief on No Drone Zone Week and Fourth of July
WHAT: Media availability to discuss unmanned aerial systems (drones) and their prohibition in the DC area and all National Parks. This is part of the National Park Service and United States Park Police #NoDroneZone education campaign leading up to the 4th of July Holiday. The USPP will also be available to discuss safety and security surrounding the July 4th event on the National Mall. The National Park Service and the United States Park Police (USPP) have launched a social media focused campaign to educate the public about drones beginning Sunday, June 26 and leading into the Fourth of July.

WHERE: East side of the Washington Monument grounds near bus pullout on 15th Street
PARKING: Transmission and vehicles used to transport equipment may park in the bus pullout located on the southbound side of 15th Street NW. No crew car parking is permitted.
