[Scan-DC] 2016 Embassy Open Houses

It's that time of the year for my annual plea for help locating freqs used by foreign governments (embassies) in Washington, D.C.

This Saturday and the following Saturday about 70 embassies will host open houses.

Some use two-way radios.

If you go, please let us know which ones you see that have radios, what kind of radios and if possible the frequency/CTCSS/DCS.

Here are a few notes I have captured in past years and would appreciate further confirmation.  Note that not all of these are hosting an open house.

Australia - 171.950?  Also had a brief close-call hit on 160.08.  They used Motorola EX500/600 series.

Canada - now 464.675s; was 463.5250r/s [d306] and 464.6750r/s [d306] (used in past, repeater and simplex); wireless mics: 470.2375, 470.725, 473.8625, 473.9.

European Union Delegation - 463.35 [146.2] contracted security and maybe 418.9125 [close-call hit]

France - FRS-style radio in the guard shack, but was not in use.

Germany - 160.270 [156.7] odd one, huh?  Also 171.7625 and 172.5625 both close-call hits (not confirmed) and 468.4125 catering (not confirmed)

Greece - 216.12 (wireless mic system)

Iraq - had a Motorola FRS/GMRS radio (not in use).

Italy - 467.85 [67.0], was 461.1125s [67.0], 464.5500s [67.0], 461.0875 [67.0], 464.55, 469.5, 469.55 [FILM CREW]

Netherlands - 462.5625, 462.725, 464.55 (valet parking) and maybe 457.275

Saudi Arabia - 468.6500s [141.3] and maybe 466.0625s

Slovak - 462.675s(?) [contract security]

Sweden, House of – 461.375, 461.725 unk DMR hit, 463.1625, 464.325s(?), 469.55 valet parking

United Kingdom - Recently switched to UHF Hytera DMR, maybe 467.85, and other freqs.
