he NWS has issued an enhanced threat for the spread of wild fires today.

Dry and breezy conditions will occur across the region this afternoon. With
minimum relative humidity values of 20-30 % and north to northwest winds
from 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph are expected. The combination of
gusty winds...low relative humidity and low fuel moisture below 8 % will
enhance the threat for the spread of wildfires this afternoon.

Given the expected weather conditions...any fires that occur could spread
quickly and be difficult to contain. Be very careful if handling possible
ignition sources near wild land areas...such as heat and sparks from
machinery or cigarettes and matches.
