[Scan-DC] Radios on UA

While my airline of preference is Southwest, I have flown UA recently, too (to Puerto Rico!)
My HP-1 and/or my PSR-800 are in the bottom of my camera bag carry-on on every flight for many years.  As a matter of fact, I was asked about the scanner by a security officer when I boarded Celebrity in PR. and had to explain that it was a receive only radio.  TSA and the airline never questioned it.
I wear hearing aids with a unit around my neck to adjust them, which also is a bluetooth for my cell phone. I have a cable that I can run from the scanner to the unit, which bluetooths (blueteeth?!) the scanner directly to my hearing aids!
The last flight I went on UA, the psr800 was in the inside pocket of my jacket before I boarded and I listened in my hearing aids part of the trip to PR, which was very boring! only after they said it was OK to use electronic devices.
