I had a station coming in at 96.7 MHz Thursday evening (before 9:00 p.m.), but it was WCEI in Easton, Maryland.

1) about 7:30 or 8:00 p.m.
2) an ad and a station ID
3) Alexandria, VA, four miles south of the Pentagon and ***eight miles east*** of Joint Base Andrews. Not too far from South Arlington.
4) Radio Shack DX-398. This one: http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/542
5) outstanding. 8 or 9 of 10 on the DX-398's indicator, with the built in antenna not even extended all the way.

I don't see how you can overcome that. I didn't hang around to try for WERA.
