Follow-up to my follow-up to my follow-up:

I saw a train of 7000-series cars headed north on the Green Line to Greenbelt at about 8:35 a.m. on Thursday, October 22, at Gallery Place. I was helping (barely, due to lack of knowledge on my part) some people find the right platform. If not for that, I think I would have got on the train and gone to Mt. Vernon Square and back, just to say I'd been on a 7000-series car.

Follow-up to my follow-up: I saw a train of 7000-series cars yesterday. Same bat time; same bat channel: leaving Archives southbound on the Green Line at about 5:02 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2015.

Follow-up:

I finally saw a train of 7000-series cars in service on Monday, September 14, headed south on the Green Line at Archives at about 5:09 p.m. The doors were closing as I was going down the escalator, so I did not get on the train just to say I had been on the new cars. As well, I had somewhere to go, on the Yellow Line.

I saw a four-car train of the 7000s at the Judiciary Square station two weeks ago. It was headed west. I was hoping I could get on, but it was a test train, and no one was allowed to board.
