Bet it was this:
B-52 flyover to mark 50th anniversary of first Air Force POW during VietnamJeff Schogol, Staff writer, Air Force Times
A B-52 will fly over the Air Force Memorial on Monday as part of a ceremony to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first airman taken prisoner during the Vietnam War.
Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Welsh will preside over Monday's ceremony, an Air Force news release says. Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James and Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force James Cody will also attend.
On March 2, 1965, then Maj. Hayden J. Lockhart was shot down over North Vietnam while taking part in Operation Rolling Thunder. He would later be awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Legion of Merit and Silver Star for his bravery during the mission and while in captivity. On the day he was shot down, Lockhart was flying one of eight F-100 aircraft when he braved heavy anti-aircraft fire to hit the target "with complete disregard for his own safety," his Distinguished Flying Cross citation says. He then noticed that his plane was on fire and was told to eject, the citation says. Lockhart was taken prisoner and not released until Feb. 12, 1973.
"Despite the harsh treatment through his long years of incarceration, he continued to perform his duties in a clearly exceptional manner which reflected great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force," his Legion of Merit citation says.During his captivity, the enemy used "physical and mental cruelties" to try to get information or confessions from Lockhart, his Silver Star citation says.
"Major Lockhart resisted their demands by calling upon his deepest inner strengths in a manner which reflected his devotion to duty and great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force," the citation says.Lockhart, 76, is unable to attend Monday's ceremony due to health reasons, the Air Force said on Thursday. After completing his last assignment on the staff of the Air Force Inspection and Safety Center, he retired from the Air Force on Dec. 31, 1981.

> Hi all,
> This morning around 10:30 we spotted a B-52 heading NW over Arlington, coming generally from the direction of Andrews. Does someone on the group possibly know where it was heading? It was pretty impressive looking. Trailing a fair amount of smoke, actually. It was not coming from the direction of Arlington Cemetery, so I don't think it was a flyover, or at least it was not coming from the direction most flyovers come from.
> Thanks,Andy
