Hoarding AAA cells is not worth the effort. I use them in TV remote controls and a few portable music players, and that's it. C cells aren't much more useful. RS had some nifty digital audio recorders, suitable for use by reporters getting comments. But they weren't worth getting due to the limited use I'd have for them. 

Crystal City was down to 50% off.

The one at Pentagon City was closing a month ago around New Years. Everything was 25% off, but not much good left.
