There is a company running around town doing a traffic study for the state I think, thats actually a high def camera on a custom mount that is seatbelted into the back seat, and the doors removed so it can stick out.

I'm not sure WHO exactly it's for, but they are studying traffic trends for something, road building, streetlight placement, etc.
