[Scan-DC] Mystery Helicopter over Takoma Park area

Resending to copy the list:

A helo  numbered N93DR left GAI (Gaithersburg) with a flight plan given as a
box from the airport, over to I95/295, south to within the district and over
to the Potomac, back to the airport. The flight times are listed as 2:47 to
3:47 p.m.  The actual flight path doesn't seem to come all the way south to
Takoma Park, but you probably  could have seen it.

You can look back at flights by looking at the airport instead of the
aircraft.


Also an earlier flight today flew a lot over Takoma Park:

Flying over Takoma Park and just south of Takoma Park was this helicopter
this afternoon.  Never seen it before.  It made multiple passes over the
area.

Note the odd device hanging on the side.

Is there anyway to check the archives for Flightaware?  It was directly over
me at 3:40 p.m.
