DUTIES:

Incumbent will carry out research in wireless communications and networking with particular emphasis on cognitive radio and spectrum sharing technologies. Investigate novel algorithms, methods, and components for spectrum monitoring and dynamic spectrum allocation. Model radio components in Matlab and/or develop implementation using software defined radios using LabView. Analyze performance and develop suitable algorithms for achieving dynamic and efficient spectrum sharing. Key responsibilities include working as part of the spectrum sharing project to evaluate and develop models and algorithms for spectrum monitoring and coordination.
