Hi Kenneth,
I'm happy with the reception of the x36 EXCEPT for Unden's refusal to deal
with their inability to receive all channels in a trunked patch. There are
other problems that are a little lower on my priority list, like the
underpowered processor (or maybe it's a memory leak) that causes user
intervention (key presses) to be delayed up to a minute or two after the
unit has been operating more demanding tasks. An example of this is how
long it takes the unit to acknowledge a key press while monitoring a TDMA
system, or after audio recording for a long time. Finally, there are the
features that we're STILL waiting for Uniden to deliver.
Well, at least I started positive. Seriously, they are nice units.
