Hi Greg!
My theory is that scanners do not seem to receive well at 700 MHz.
I assume it is because these channels are more narrow, too new technology,
for these inexpensive consumer radios.
Also, the older FDMA digital (used in older bands) seems to decode better
than the new TDMA digital which most of the systems use at 700 MHz.

maybe this is more for RR but i figured the SCAN-DC folks may have a
bifgger picture. 700 MHz frequencies for Metro-Wash-Balto. has anyone heard
definite full time traffic on the 700 MHz band?
