REALLY???  Are you seriously asking this question to a person who spent
over 12 years in Internal Affairs, and was the lead in creating the system
for identifying "improper" car-to-car text messages after a related news
story that went viral?  Can this be considered "one example"?

Are the police bad... NO!  But the one (or few) proverbial "bad apple" does
tend to reflect on the entire department.  Next question...
