Two "things":


just in passing - almost directly opposite on Snouffer School Road is a National Guard or Army Reserve center - Army reserve, I think, sorry, have forgotten... I only pass it twice a day!  :)  Anyway, back in the good old days of Cold War, that was a Nike site - you may still be able to see the silo doors on google maps... the control site was down the road a bit and on the other side (ie same side as where this plane went down today), it is now a park - "Nike Park".
