I am looking for a good, no great, remote speaker, for the car scanner...
I have had the amplified Bearcat and even Motorola speakers in the past...
so I have this sweet thing I use in my modest shack, it is portable, but not perfect...and made for listening to music.

It is about the size of a beer can...I normally use it on vacations to play or stream news/music from my devices, it is bluetooth, but I am not using that in this case and even has a internal battery that lasts 5 hours....it sounds 20x better than my tinny Uniden amplified speaker... 12volt and has an input jack. I am loving the input jack option from my scanners. The scanner audio that comes out of it is perfect, the scanner audio is like human voice.
This $80 dude does it all, very deep tones, and I would recommend it for your shack or secondary radios.. you can always take it on vacation. But I want a non-bluetooth speaker that sounds as good and powers up with the car power...this speaker has too many good options and I have to push buttons to power it up, and I am just looking for the good deep sound. Although I have the option, I am not going to input scanner traffic into the car audio as I usually have hard news AM or SAT on those speakers when in my journalist mode.
That all said, is there some cheap/small inline thing to change the tone to deeper bass on my Uniden amplified 12 volt speaker that was made for a car? Scanner audio sounds bad to start with, this JBL flip works great, I am looking for the same audio quality...but something more basic.
I need a recommendation on a non-tinny amplified car speaker please...I have searched the web, but only find typical things, most I have and are tinny.
Thanks Paul
