Hi Alan,

I have taken a chance and bought three of the same models for a 1/4 the
price on Amazon without the NooElec name. They have worked fine with SDR#,
etc.  Your mileage may vary though, one day the other vendors might ship
something that isn't 100% compatible.

On an unrelated note, I recently implemented a web browser based remote
control/audio streaming interface for my Pro-106. It is similar to the
Win500 Windows server/client, but it can be used from any WebRTC compatible
browser on a desktop, phone,  or tablet. It's still a little rough around
the edges user interface wise, but I have full control of the scanner. Do
you think people would be interested in the code at some point?
