[Scan-DC] DC fire department to encrypt its radio channels; local fire chiefs deeply concerned

DC area has the same radio cash. In Montgomery I think it's stored at Sta 31.  There are others in other jurisdictions.  You sometimes hear those responsible for it on air as NCRxxx (national capital region).
